VACCINATION DRIVE FOR SENIOR CITIZENS,

CO-MORBID POPULATION COMMENCED AT HOLY FAMILY HOSPITAL.

The second phase of Covid-19 vaccination commenced on 04th March 2021, covering people over 60 years and above. Even those above the age of 45 years who have illnesses will be eligible to receive the corona virus vaccines. His Eminence Cardinal Oswald Gracias inaugurated the Covid-19 vaccination centre at Holy Family Hospital, Bandra (W). The Cardinal said that this is a historic and revolutionary step in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

The second phase will have a system of self-registration. The beneficiary will have to download the Co-win app 2.0 (or log into www.cowin.gov.in) and register and book for vaccinations. Eligible beneficiaries, must carry any of the following photo- ID document:

• Aadhar Card
• PAN Card
• Electoral Photo Identity Card (EPIC)
• Certificate of co-morbidity for citizens in the age group of 45 years to 59 years (signed by a registered medical practitioner)

After the beneficiary is registered and gets the first shot of Covid-19 vaccine, a provisional certificate will be issued (on receiving the first jab) and final (on receiving the second shot).

The price of Covid-19 vaccines at our centre is capped at Rs. 250/- per shot.

The vaccination time shall be from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM
