All our Intensive Care Units (ICU) take this special responsibility and are designed to offer a tranquil and positive environment that is conducive to recovery. Our ICU staff is specially trained in critical care procedures and work with alacrity so that patients receive prompt treatment and personalized health care.
Our ICUs are equipped to treat patients in need of critical care in specialized areas. We have a strength of 47 Critical Care Beds, comprising an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with 7 beds, the Intensive Critical Care Unit (ICCU) with 13 beds, Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) with 8 beds, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with 4 beds, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with 15 beds. In addition, we have one isolation bed for Critical Cases.
All our ICUs have state-of-the-art patient monitoring systems (Philips MP-40, MP-20) with central monitoring. We have high end Viaysis Avea and Vela invasive ventilators with CPAP / BiPAP features. Stand-alone Respironics BiPAP ventilators, blood gas machines (ABL 800) for round-the-clock measurements. Philips ECG machines (TC30) and Siemens Mobile X-Ray unit Multimobile (MM 2.5).
All the ICUs maintain a positive air-conditioning which ensures clean, filtered air. We maintain the highest hygiene levels with a microbial count performed on a weekly basis according to NABH Standards. The equipment we use is regularly calibrated to ensure quality monitoring standards making our Hospital’s ICUs among the top-class ICUs in Mumbai.
