How To Donate?
Blood donation is a simple procedure. It consists of 5 easy steps.

Registration : Your personal details are recorded and you will be given a questionnaire to assess your present and past health status.

Medical Examination : A doctor asks you certain questions about your medical history to make sure you are fit to donate blood. You then undergo a simple and quick medical examination.

Haemoglobin Test : Your blood haemoglobin level is checked to ensure that you are not suffering from anaemia.

Donation of Blood : Your blood is withdrawn with the help of a sterile and disposable kit after cleaning your arm with an antiseptic solution. The entire process, including screening, takes around 45 minutes.

Refreshments : After donating blood, you are advised to rest for 5 to 10 minutes. During this time, you are served some light refreshments.
